Done!
The semester is over, thank God.

Again...

And again...
I had a lot of doctor’s notes. I started with an upper respiratory infection, moved to a lower respiratory infection, and finally into a sinus infection we started hitting with Antibiotics and steroids and stuff. No me gusta.
On top of that, my final exam week was a hellish flurry of make-up quizzes, tests, late tests, truncated tests and derp. Also no me gusta.
However, it’s time to dig into some new projects. My new tumblog, four|chords|and|bored, is going to get rolling this winter. It’ll be occasionally updated with simple songs and covers as I learn how to use all of my new equipment and software.
Speaking of which, I now have all of the mics I need to record a drum set, mic a few amps, record keyboards or other percussion… I’m pretty excited. Especially considering Pro Tools 10 is coming in Santa’s sleigh this Christmas!
So, if you need recording done, talk to me for competitive (read: cheap as hell) pricing in a professional environment!
Hello, World!
0No, this isn’t the first wordpress post. It’s the name of my next album, and I plan on releasing it in mid-2011.
It will be a mix of progressive rock, jazz and electronica and feature a crew of intensely talented musicians throughout. You can hear a five-minute sample on my bandcamp page entitled “Momentum,” which looks like it may end up being the album’s epic. The bandcamp demos will be updated occasionally.
It will feature, among others, such classy characters as Daniel Tievsky and Joseph Blair on the Guitars and janxes, which is in fact a word for “other miscellaneous instruments.”
I hope you’re all ready for Hello_World this Spring 2012!

Daniel Tievsky on guitar, everyone!

0As I head into my upcoming position at Robinson Secondary School, I’m sitting back and enjoying what little free time I have while I still have it. I’ve spent the time getting this site up and running, as well as starting a new minecraft server, which can be found in the links tab on the right.
I’ll be working with the Robinson front ensemble, getting them ready to roll into the 2011 BOA/VBODA season, and I’m looking forward to finally having a gig teaching a real group of dedicated kids. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them, and it’s certainly going to be my pleasure to teach them.
In other news, my bandcamp page will soon be releasing free copies of my 2009 EP, ChromaZone. Be sure to check in and grab a copy while I work feverishly toward some semblance of a new album this summer!
